The Christmas Tag

Ho Ho Ho! 

I came across this tag and fancied doing it as i haven't posted for a while and what better way to start the Christmas posts off with a Christmas tag?! so here we go! 

Q. What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?

Well, I am a Christmas person so pretty much everything about Christmas excites me and makes me very very happy! But if i had to chose one thing it would probably be the shopping. Going out and choosing your wrapping paper, tags, ribbons, cards, presents and how you're going to decorate, choosing baul bauls and fairy lights and 'Late Night Christmas Shopping' where they leave the shops open til late so you can go shopping in the evening when all the lights are on all wrapped up and get Christmas drinks from Costa! ahhhh its making me excited just thinking about it!! 

Q. What’s your favourite makeup look for the festive season?

Fairly bold and dark, lots of eyeliner and dark red/Burgundy lips & nails. i also love sparkles. i love sparkles a whole lot!!! 

Q. Real tree or fake tree?

If i could chose then probably real because they smell so lovely and going to chose it sounds really fun but ever since i was little we've always had a fake one because of pets and i love it so i don't really mind but it has to at least look real! haven't got time for all those white trees people have ?!?! 

Q. Giving presents or receiving presents?

Sounds cheese but giving them! obviously receiving gifts is so lovely and i love love opening things its so exciting but one of my favourite things of Christmas is wrapping up presents and making them look pretty and choosing things for surprises that you know someones really had their eye on. making other people happy makes me happy :) 

Q. Do you open your presents Christmas morning or evening?

We tend to spread them out throughout the day, Ive never understood how people wake up at 5am and rush downstairs and open everything! its all over and done with within 10 minutes and i think it just ruins all the effort people have put in! Stockings were always a morning thing for me, sat opening them in bed but then we all have breakfast, have a chat, then mum starts cooking, then its normally waiting for people to arrive so sometimes we don't start opening presents until 3/4 o'clock

Q. Handmade Christmas cards or bought?

Handmade are always lovely, and its so nice that people have put in the effort to make them and i also really enjoy making things so i like to be able to make cards sometimes but i also really love all the designs you can chose in shops so to be honest i really don't mind, but I'm a card person more than a present person, i literally prefer them! 

Q. What’s your favourite Christmas film?

Elf! always elf, if you haven't seen it you need to get yourself sorted and watch it! quite literally the best Christmas film Ive ever seen. but my other favourites are 'The Santa Clause' Movies, there is three of them with Tim Allen in and they are BRILLIANT, my absolute favourites since Ive been little

 

Q. What’s your favourite Christmas food?

oooo tricky! I'm not really a big roast dinner person like i enjoy it and obviously on Christmas its fun cause its traditional but I'm a vegetarian and Ive never really been into big meals that make you want to sleep on the sofa for months. but i LOVE stuffing mmmmmm and roast potatoes. but in my family we have these little traditional 'cheesy trees' its basically a cheese straw recipe but we make Christmas tree shapes and everyone loves them, i associate them with Christmas and i love them
