The Autumn Tag

So I was tagged by the wonderful, Hayley Walker to do the 'Autumn Tag' and Autumn is my absolute favourite time of year! There is definitely something super special about the cold yet sunny days, wrapping up in scarfs that can also be used as blankets, drinking hot chocolate and eating gingerbread men, buying Christmas presents late night shopping and finding concurs! (I'm getting excited just writing this can you tell?!) I took this photo yesterday while having our first official 'Autumn walk with my family, we climbed to the top of a tor and drank hot chocolate whilst finding concurs... perfect.

Ok we're talking coffees - what's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero etc?

Like Hayley, I'm not really a coffee person, give me a coffee cake or coffee flavoured revels and I'm a happy chappy but a cup of the hot stuff, no thank you. however hot chocolate is my thang, Costa bring out the most amazing Christmas themed hot drinks... gingerbread & Cream Latte; Black Forest Hot Chocolate; Honeycomb & Cream Hot Chocolate; White Hot Chocolate & Cream; Salted Caramel & Cream Latte and Hot Spiced Apple.

Accessories - what do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves? 

I'm a chunky boots and giant tartan scarfs kinda person. gloves just get in the way but then i get cold hands so i cant really win but giant furry scarfs you can wrap yourself in, big fluffy socks and chunky black ankle boots and I'm on it. 

Music - what's your favourite music to listen to during Autumn?

Christmas songs. all the time, as soon as it starts getting Christmassy i crack out the mariah carey ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOUUUUU, YOU BABY. 

and normally whatever song they put with the John Lewis advert as that always makes me feel super autumn/christmassy! 

Perfume - what's your favourite scent for this time of year?

I'm actually allergic to most perfumes :( which is sad but as of now the two brands i can wear is the Brittney spears range and hollister sprays, so either of those haha. 

however if they had a gingerbread latte perfume out there id be sure to wear it in autumn. 

Candles - what scents will you be burning this season?

I'm allergic to lots of those too :( It's a scent thing, goes straight to my head and gives me migraines/dizziness so I don't tend to burn candles which is sad because i was never able to jump on the Yankee candle bandwagon

What do you love most about Autumn?

It's the best season, its cold but stays sunny (most of the time) and you can wrap up, non of this short shorts and crop top malarkey, I love getting all cosy and going for long walks, drinking hot chocolate, eating cheese and crackers for every meal, and preparing for Christmas, like Hayley said,whats not to love?!

Favourite make up look?

I'm a bit of a sucker for using my naked palette all year round but in the autumn/winter more golds/darker browns and Burgundy colours, using blusher more than bronzer, lots and lots of lip balm! and my ultimate fave 107 Kate Moss lip stick
