Hello Lovelies,
Recently I joined the blogger programme, which has opened up many opportunities for me and I am now an approved blogger for my social networks mainly instagram and this blog but sometimes twitter too! I highly recommend anyone who's started blogging in one form or another to join as it connects you to different brands and you're able to form collaborations with different companies.
My first experience of this was with Miss Rebel where I was able to chose a product to be sent to do a review on it. Miss Rebel is a woman's clothing company selling products from dresses coats playsuits jeans and knitwear. The Product I chose was a Green Parka Coat with a Fur Hood
I've needed a warmer winter coat for a while now and considering I live in England I will be wearing it until mid June. As soon as I received the coat i wore it, and I've worn it every day since. I went for a walk yesterday and it was a perfect opportunity to take some photos of the coat, natural lighting and beautiful scenery. It was very very cold yesterday so I wrapped up in a top, cardigan, jeans (Newlook) giant scarf (Primark) and coat (Miss Rebel).
The inside of the coat and the inside of the hood is lined with fleece and it makes it incredibly cosy - I do like to be cosy- the hood is lined with faux fur and the sleeves are cuffed with a sweatshirt material making it even cosier because no cold air can sneak up there!
The back of the coat has the little draw strings at the bottom, which are also in the middle of the front of the coat which is handy if you bought one slightly too big and it also gives the coat more shape. It does up by a chunky brass zip with big brass poppers for added effect. There are two large pockets on the front of the coat which i found very cosy keeping my hands in there to warm up!
This coat is perfect over almost anything, I've worn it to work to keep me cosy on cold days over my uniform and I've also worn it over pretty much every outfit I've worn since. I think a parka coat is such a staple piece in anyone's wardrobe as they're so warm and practical but also look lovely with most things!
For this particular day I paired it with my Newlook dark blue jeans which are fairly high waisted, a Newlook floral black green and white chiffon top, a simple gold bar necklace and giant tartan scarf (which doubles up as a blanket) from Primark. Tartan is a MUST have at the moment, I just wish you could wear multiple tartan prints all at once without looking a bit crazy!
You can see the detailing of the coat slightly more here, the poppers on the sleeves are the same as the poppers on the front, the coat is SUCH a lovely quality and I know it'll be well worn and loved for a long time.
Thank you for this opportunity Miss Rebel I really appreciate it.
Love Evie
